The BiopodF200 (developed and patented by the PFPR) allows processes optimization for E.coli, yeast or different microorganisms in 100 ml parallel and independent micro-fermentors. This scale-down step is essential for the reliability of the transfer of culture conditions to larger volume fermentors.
Compact Modular Design
Available in single, twin, triple and up to 64 units, the bioPOD design is based on the use of an ergonomic, modular construction housing the local controller as well as additional gassing, pump and various modules. This result in considerable savings in valuable benchtop space.
